LATE TELEGRAMS.
[By Wire.—AUCKLAND, Tuesday Morning, 8.33 a.m.] Hospital Commission Report. The report of the Auckland Hospital Commission, received by the Ministers in Wellington, is understood to contain certain drastic recommendations. The Weather. The weather lias been very stormy since Sunday. The scow Progress is ashore at Devonport, being slightly damaged, but expects to get off to-day. Several yachts have been damaged. Produce Market. The price of produce remains unchanged. Potatoes are higher if anything, owing to the enlarged scope of the plague, Tomatoes are now also attacked and fcatfTnje entertained for the crop. Damage to Crops. The continued wet is doing harm to the oat crops,’ and fine weather is awaited for harvesting the hay.
