An Interesting Work.

“ The Shadow,,” by Lionel Terry. We are indebted to the author (Mr. Lionel Terry) for a copy of a book of poem, which has an introduction of ten pages. The book is both an exhortation and prophecy, and deals with the alarming influx of aliens of all religions, colors and creeds into the British Empire, and is strongly condemnatory of Britain’s present Imperial /policy. The work is the result of many years of the author’s personal research in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, tfe United States of America, and many minor parts of the worjd. In order*- to obtain facts be has visited slums, worked Bide by side with aliens of various nationalities, in stone quarries, coal mines, fruit plantations, saw-mills, and many other industrial enterprises, and is thoroughly au fait with his subject. The author in his introduction fearlessly attacks the Government of the British Empire. We quote his words; “ I declare that the Government of the British Empire is Jew-ridden and corrupt. I declare that certain members of the House of Rothschild are, and have been for, many years past, the private advisers’Of the British Cabinet, and that the De Beers Diamond Mines Robbery, the Jameson filibustering expedition, the Bo.VVW.r- and the importation of Chinese labom* intfo Sstuth Africa, are all attributable to the secret instigation of the Rothschilds, who arc deeply interested in South African mining and land securities.” We strongly advise all Britons (to whom the book is dedicated) to invest in a copy. The book is well printed on excellent puper, and has a strikingly designed cover-page, symbolical of the evermenacing danger to the British nation from the hordes of aliens who threaten her shores. The author has made au arrangement with us for tye sale of this work; price 6d; add Id postage.
