EXPORT OF HIDES
ALTERATIONS IN LEVY Wellington, Oct. 21. The following alterations have been made in the export levy on hides. Ox hides and cow hides have been reduced t<> l]d per lb. bull hides increased to Id per lb. yearlings increased to ljd per lb. calf skins and other than freezers ! are unchanged at 3d. The rates are : operative from 24th October, and every I endeavour is to be made by the hides’ ! committee to retain these rates for 12 ; months.—P.A.
