MOUTERE W.D.F.U.

The last meeting of the Moutere Moutere branch of the W.D.F.U. was held at Mrs John Teece’s home. A number of letters were dealt with. Mrs Driver (president) read a report on the last provincial executive meeting. Regret was expressed at the small attendance and it was hoped to have a more representative gathering at the next meeting when arrangements will be put in hand for the combined birthday and garden party which is to be held in November. The competitions resulted—l2 bulbs, Mrs Flett 1, Mrs J. Teece 2; 12 best flowers, Mrs L. Drummond 1, Mrs Driver 2, Mrs Drogemuller 3. Afternoon tea concluded the meeting.
