FALL FROM 29th STOREY

New York, Sept. 28. Three notes were left by Miss Adelaide Reckford, 40. noted amateur golfer, when she plunged to death from the window of her room on the 29th floor of her hotel. The first note indicated the manner of her death, another enclosed a tip for her maid, and the third contained money to pay her hotel bill. Miss Reckford’s grandfather founded the American Lead Pencil Company. When her father. Louis Reckford, died he left an estate of $2,000,000. of which his daughter was a beneficiary. She had lately been in ill-health.
