WORK OF INTERVIEWING OFFICERS Appreciation of the work of its interviewing officers in various parts of the district was expressed in the annual report of the Women’s War Services Auxiliary. The report stated that the interviewing work was begun at the end of April and to date some 450 registra tion papers had been handled, of which about 250 girls had been interviewed locally. The country* work was now 1 ully established, and running very smoothly. The following list gives the interviewers for the various districts: Murchison. Mrs D. G. Spencer; Foxhill. Mrs H Holland: Tapawera. Miss K. Phillips: Wakefield. Mrs Shuttle worth; Waimea West. Mrs O’Connor: Brightwater, Mrs E. Silcock: Richmond. Miss Kidd; Ta hunanui. Mrs C. 11. Chamberlain; Col ling wood. Mrs G. Brewer; Takaka. Mrs J A. Lockhart: Motueka. Mrs H D Bennett. The interviewing officer in the Nelson centre is Mrs J. R. Wallace.
