R.M.D., Uppei Moutere im). Captain Wood arrived in Nelson to-day. Mrs Edward Drake, of Christchurch, is spending a holiday in Nelson and is the guest of Mrs F. Savage. Kawai street. Pilot-Officer C. H. ("Mac" • Baigent has recently been promoted in England to Flight-Lieutenant, a double step. He arrived in England last January. and since May has been captain of a Stirling bomber on operations over Germany. including the 1000 bomber raid on Bremen.
