NAVY LEAGUE MOVEMENT
PUBLIC MEETING TO BE HELD An informal meeting was held recently in connection with the Navy League movement. Mr H. R. Duncan presiding. The Mayor (Mr E. R. Neale) and the Mayoress attended by invitation. Certain discussion took place, as to ways and means of increasing interest in the activities of the Navy League. It was agreed that a public meeting be called at an early date, to form a sub-
branch of Wellington, to elect a committee, and to arrange plans for the future. The elate and place of this ! meeting will be advertised in “The j Mail” shortly, and all who are interestI ed or who have relations in H.M. Navy, I the Merchant Navy, or the Fleet Air j Arm, are particularly requested to be j present. _____
