THE NEW SCHOOL
1 am going to tell you about our i new school. It has two buildings,, one i being big and the other quite small. The | roof is not painted, but the doors are painted light green outside and cream inside. The walls of our shelter sheds are painted cream and the seats are green. There are four school rooms in the big building, two cloakrooms, two toilet rooms, two shelter sheds. two teacher’s rooms, the head teacher’s office, a storeroom and a boiler room. The little building contains two school rooms, one cloak room, two toilet rooms and two shelter sheds. The small building consists of the primers, and the big one the standards and secondary pupils In front of the school is a large block of concrete. .Just in front of the concrete is the flagpole which is painted cream. This last month or two the men have 1 been busy getting the- school grounds I straight. Last Saturday they finished j and on Tuesday they sowed the grass j seed. We are not allowed to play on the j school grounds so we go down to the 1 park to play when it is fine.
