“AREN’T WE ALL?”
KEN ALEXANDER’S ELUCIDATION New Zealand’s popular humourist Ken Alexander has been perpetrating and illustrating again. His mevryj making and subtle philosophising on mundane matters on this occasion are embodied in a publication entitled “Aren’t We All?”, which is similar in format to his “Highlights of Life.” The author does not claim for his work thqt it is all brand new—most of it is—but those who have heard portions of his clever effervescences over the air will welcome the opportunity now given of more fully appreciating them in leisurely manner. The production of this welcome volume of jest in prose and picture gives Leo. Fanning the opportunity of writing an effective and justified little “I told you so,” foreword. When Ken Alexander published his first book, Mr Fanning—journalist and publicist of wide experience—in a preface indicating his belief that he was backing a winner, predicted that the author’s “clever expression of humour would win the warm praise of many people here and overseas, and would prepare the way for further success.” The prophecy has been fulfilled.
