Lieutenant-Colonel C. M. Rout, E.D.. has relinquished command of Ist Battalion, the Nelson, Marlborough and West Coast, Regiment, and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. i Roy Lancaster is granted a temporary commission as 2nd Lieutenant in the N.Z. Defence Engineer Service Corps. Lieutenant P. F. Simrn, N.Z. Artillery. N.Z.IC.F., is promoted to the temporary rank of Captain. Major S. J. Kelly, E.D., Second N.Z.E.F’.. is appointed L command a battalion of The Nelson, Marlborough anil West Coast Regiment. Miss L. G. Small, District Health Nurse, who has been relieving in Nelson. returns to Wellington to-night.
