THOUGHTFUL PUBLIC SERVANT
Mamaroneck (New York). Herman Sommerhalder, of the North Tarrytown post office, and a World War veteran, knows what it means to parents to receive letters from the boys in service. Ever since the first draftee left North Tarrytown, Sommerhalder has been collecting letters from service men which arrive too late for delivery on Saturday and delivers them to grateful parents—all n his own time. Ordinarily these letters would not reach the addressee until Monday.
