AUSTRALIAN MEAT PRICES
~ SCHEME FOR STABILISATION Canberra, Aug. 28. The Australian Government expects to have a scheme for the stabilisation of meat prices operating within a few weeks. Alarming increases in the price of meat, chiefly beef, have caused considerable concern. The Government desires producers to secure a reasonable stabilised price in order to avoid grave losses in the industry.—P.A. special Australian correspondent.
