CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH

Christchurch, Aug. 27. Advice that effect would be given to the recommendation of a commission that the residential portion of Mount Pleasant, comprising 80 acres, should b e included in the city of Christchurch was received by the City Council from the Department of Internal Affairs. The commission recommended that the change should be made on Ist April, 1943.
