TO BE NAMED AFTEK LABOUR LEADERS Washington, Aug. 27. The Maritime Commission announced that six Liberty ships will be launched on Labour Day, one of which will be named the Samuel Gompers, honouring the founder of the American Federation of Labour. The other five will be named in honour of other Labour leaders. INJUNCTION GRANTED At Cleveland the Federal Court has granted an injunction restraining the Kaiser Company, which has a provisional agreement with the Government to build giant Mars transport planes, from dealings in the blackmarket of the steel industry. The Office of Price Administration alleged that Mr Henry J. Kaiser bought more than 500,0001 bof steel at 5210 dollars above the ceiling prices, also paying double the railway freight rate for split carload lots.—P.A.
