BERLIN AND OTHER TOWNS BOMBED
RAM) BY RUSSIAN AIR FORCE (Roc. 1.45 p.m.) London. Aug. 27. Moscow radio announced that the Russian Air Force in difficult weather on the night of 26th August bomlied military and industrial objectives at Berlin, Danzig, Konigsberg, Stettin, Tilsit and other towns in eastern, northeastern and central Germany Nine large fires were started in each Berlin and Danzig and ten fires, also explosions, at Konigsberg. Fires and explosions were observed in other target areas. All the raiders returned—P-A.
