Empire Dairy Council to co-ordinate dairying interests throughout the Empire and promote the prosperity of all branches of the industry, including production, dis• tribution. and consumption. Sir W. Wayland, a member of the House of Commons, was elected chairman. . The constitution .empowers taking steps to protect Homeland and Empire producers against unfair competition, particularly relating to hygienic condi- 4 tions.
