FALL FROM VIADUCT

A MAN KILLED

(By Telegraph—Press Association)

TAUMARUNUI, Tins Day. Taving apparently fallen from a viaduct 80 feet high, John Blumberg, aged 50 years, employed by Ellis and Burnand in the bush, was found dead. He set off from the camp to wajk to 011garue with a mate, Harry Gray, to receive medical advice. The two walked along the tramline for some distance and after Gray had crossed the viaduct he looked round and found Blumberg not in sight. Gray searched the gully beneath the tramline and discovered Blumberg’s dead body.
