DOUBLE DROWNING
HUSBAND AND WIFE LOSE LIVES (By Telegraph—Press Association) WAIROA, This Day. Air and Mrs Carl Ertle were drowned in the Waiau river at Frasertown yesterday afternoon. Airs Ertle, who was unable to swim, got into difficulties. Her husband, who also was unable to swim, jumped in fully clothed, and disappeared. The bodies were recovered later.
