ALLEGED BREACH OF GAMING ACT
THREE AIEN CHARGED REMANDED ON BAIL Before Messrs I. Tunnicliff and C. M. Collins, Justices, at the Alagistrate’s Court this afternoon Harry AlcNabb, James Abel Anderson, and Maurice Vivian Richard Stirling Maxwell were \ each separately charged, on the information of the police with “On or about 12th of August, 1930, and on divers dates between that and 6th January, 1931, at Nelson, was in Bridge street for the purpose of betting.” Senior-Sergeant Quinn in each case case asked for a remand to 2.15 p.m. on Friday next, and this was granted. Bail, which was forthcoming, was allowed, self in £l5O and one surety of £l5O.
