BATHING FATALITY
(By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day. While bathing on Hukmvai beach at Opitiki, Eric Parkinson (31), of Opotiki, collapsed. When taken from the water a doctor was summoned immediately and efforts made to revive him without success. Deceased was one of the best known footballers in the Bay of Plenty, having represented Opotiki and Bay of Plenty for several years.
