NAPIER, This Day. The boardinghouse known as Beach House, on Marine Parade, a single storey building of 20 x-ooms, was partially destroyed by fire which originated in the back premises in the early hours of the morning. The Napier Brigade made an excellent save of the front section of the building, but the back part was practically completely destroyed. The building is owned by’Mrs W.’Bott, and ■yvas occupied by Mrs J. Hay. It was insured for £I6OO in the London office, and the contents were covered for £750 and £2OO in tlje Alliance office.
