COTTON INDUSTRY DISPUTE
EFFORTS AT SETTLEMENT (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, 14th January. Labour Ministry officials conferred with, both sides in the dispute in the cotton industry at Lancashire to-day. An effort is being made to secure a settlement before Monday, when a wide extension of the stoppage is threatened.
