BAND CARNIVAL AT CONEY PARK
At a meeting held last evening by the 12th Regimental Band, it was decided to iiold a carnival at Coney Park on Friday evening, 30th January, continuing on Saturday afternoon and evening. The Nelson Volunteer Fire Brigade will bo asked to assist in what will be the band’s last appeal to the general public before proceeding to the contest. Fresh attractions will bo added to Coney Park and a unique vaudeville entertainment will be included in the entertainment. Mr 11. Wilkins was appointed secretary, Mr W. Lock treasurer, Mr F. N. Jones organiser, and Mr W. Reed, junior, assistant organiser. Further details will be advertised later.
