Male Kardos, aged 53, one of the central figures in the sensational mass poisonings of husbands, is to be hanged tomorrow. She will be the first woman executed in Central Europe for 80 years. PRISON BESIEGED (Received 13th January, 1.35 p.m.) VIENNA, 12th January. Kardos’ execution will be public. The prison is besieged with townspeople and peasants willing to pay large sums for available tickets.
