BURMA REBELS
STILL IN HIDING (United Prosa Association—By Elcctrin Telegraph—Oopyright) (Received 13th January, 10.40 a.m.) DELHI, 12th January. A false rumour of rebel activity swept over Rangoon like a monsoon storm and the city was soon in a panic. A flying boat from Singapore made a reconnaissance and reported that the rebels were still hiding in the forest, and the opinion was expressed that the Government had made a mistake in withdrawing troops from the affected areas.
