FEELING THE PINCH
WAGES AND SALARIES REDUCED (By Telegraph—Press Association) NAPIER, This Day. A special meeting of the Hawkes Rav County Council resolved that a reduction of 10 per cent, be made in all wages and salaries payable to employees as' from February. The public purse will thus be saved about £2300 annually.
