MISSING AIRMEN SAFE FOOD AND WATER DROPPED ADELAIDE, 10th January. Flight-Lieutenant Eaton, who returned from Alice Springs in an Air Force ’plane, reports that he has discovered the missing fliers, Captain Pittendrugh and Hamre, who apparently are quite well. They were found in the desolate country of Central Australia. Easton dropped food and water and later will attempt to bring them to safety. Nothing has been heard of the missing men since 20th December. .
