BATHING FATALITY

(By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. Clarence O’Neill (20) a window dresser, was drowned while bathing at Titahi Bay yesterday. He entered the water at a dangerous place with George Tutty and Miss Ethel Windley. When 100 yards from the beach O’Neill got into difficulties. Tutty went to his assistance and supported him for a time hut had to let go as he became exhausted himself. O’Neill sank and Tutty was brought ashore in a distressed condition. Miss Windley was also in difficulties and had to be rescued. O’Neily’s body lias not been recovered.
