WAKATU’S GOOD SCORE MATCH WITH OLD BOYS COLTS GLOVER AND THOMASON SCORE CENTURIES On Saturday Wakalu were faced with a score of 453 runs made by Old Boys Colts in the first day’s play of the match The innings commenced disastrously four good wickets going cheaply. However, Glover and Thomason became associated and went on until Glover reached his century. Thomason was then about 50. Then. Jones went in, batting steadily while Thomason laid about the tired bowling and passed his century. The fieldsmen were generous to Wakatu in the matter of dropped catches.
