SATURDAY’S SHOOT
NELSON DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB The Nelson Defence Rifle Club on Sat. urday last fired the second round for Mr Alf. Robinson’s trophy with ten shots each at 500 and 600 yards. The attendance was below the average and the shooting was very patchy. 11. L. Frank, who is shooting very consistently, made top score off the rifle, whilst L. Gore with a handicap of 6, heads the list for the day, and wins a silver spoon. H. L. Frank wins the silver spoon for- best score off rifle. For the Wastnoy Cup Gore, Frank, Inwood, Mansscn and Shai-land take 5, 4,3, 2,- and 1 points in that order. Scores: —
