TRAMPER MISSING
(By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. The following message was received from Makurora (Otago): “Bert Thomson, of Alexandra, a returned soldier, left Makarora on 17th December to tramp over llaast Pass to the West Coast. He failed to reach any populated point on the coast and was known lo he carrying only a small quantity of provisions.”
