INSPECTION AND INVESTIGATION
OF MURCHISON EARTHQUAKE AREA DECISION OF CABINET (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON. This Day. Earthquake tremors which have continued almost without interruption since the upheaval at Murchison in June, 1929, led to a decision being made by the Cabinet to send an officer of the Government Seismological Department to the area for the purpose of carrying out an inspection and investigating the country.
