TROUBLE ON SUBMARINE
OFFICIAL STATEMENT BY ADMIRALTY INQUIRY BEING HELD (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, sth January. The Admiralty issued a communique stating that on Sunday morning, 4th jnsl., an infraction of discipline occurred aboard the submarine depot ship Lucia. It explains that delay due to weather conditions necessitated the loss of weekend leave prior to the departure of the Lucia to join the Atlantic Fleet, and also the crew working on Sunday morning: and stales that thirty seamen so far forgot their duty as to remain lielow and shut themselves in when ordered to parade on deck for duty on Sunday morning. They were arrested and taken in custody lo tiie Naval Barracks and a court of inquiry sat to-da- and will continue to sit to-morrow. Further action will depend on the result of its investigations, which have yet to be consider-
