The weather'was fine but threatening, and the track good. The attendance was moderate. Results: — District Handicap, of 70 sovs; one mile and a quarter. —1 Indian Author, 1; 4 Altair, 2.; 3 Galindo Rose, 3. Scratched: Matchglow. Won by four lengths, two lengths. Time, 3.7.
