Three experienced fishermen at Caphawke, on the North Coast, were drowned tin's afternoon on Lake Wallis during a. violent thunderstorm. The victims are Arthur Prior (67) and his two nephews Geoffrey Prior (25) and Stanley Hart (27). The men were crossing the lake in a fishing launch heavily loaded with paraphenalia when the craft sank Eyewitnesses were unable to lend assistance owing to the fury of the storm and the fact that their boats were too small.
