Tlie Masport Cup, the New Zealand fipoedbout championship trophy, was retained to-day by Aldcrton Bros., of Wanganui, with J. and J. IT. Mr E. R. Lane’s Jelo (Picton) was second, and Mr Brian Armstrong’s (Akitio) Chris Craft third. Tlie Heloan Cup was won by Chris Craft. Bee Jax, owned by A. Woodman. of Wellington, crossed the line first, hut was disqualified, as the speed exceeded wlu/t the conditions specified.
