MOVEMENTS OF WARSHIPS
VISIT TO HOBART (By Telegraph—Press Association) -•Vi AUCKLAND, 30th December. A visit to Hobart will be paid by the warships Dunedin and Diomede early • in February. In'March the flag of Commodore Blake will be transferred from the flagship Dunedin to the Diomede, and the Dunedin will sail for Sydney and England. On arrival at Chatham the cruiser will undergo an extensive refit. At Hobart the cruisers will carry out exercises with the Australian squadron, spending a fortnight there. _ After the visit to Hobart, the Diomede will return to the Dominion. The Veronica and Laburnum will leave Auckland in February on Dominion cruises.
