COMMISSIONER HAY LEAVING ; NEW ZEALAND

WELLINGTON, sth August. Tne following announcement has been made by'the Salvation Army: "Commissioner Hay, head of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, has received orders' from General E. J. Higgins to take, farewell of his command, and be : , ready to proceed to a new and im- ' portant appointment in October. During the last three years some important : advances, both in spiiitual and social work have taken place in the Army's activities. The Commissioner and Mrs Hay will be* saying good-bye at many centres, and in October will conduct 'concluding meetings in Wellington. The new, leader for the Dominion will shorts ly be announced."
