Warwick August Handicap—l'.lather, 7.9, 1; Gar.ula, 7.12, 2; Tidal (NewZealand), 7.3, 3. Seven started, including Papain. Won bv half a head. Time, 2.62. AUSTRALIAN HURDU-S MKLROUItNE, 3rd August. Tiio Australian' Hurdle.; resulted— Moss Trooper, 910, I; Longlands, 10'j, 2; Scud Along, 9.0, 3. Ten started. 'Sir Kabul had the lead when the race was half run. Moss Trooper being the nearest attendant, with Longlands bandy. Turning lor borne Moss Trooper gained the lead, and superior pace on the Hat enabled him to win by five lengths from Longlands, who beat Scud Along by four lengths, then came Cobranvnil, Sir Union, and May Day. Time, 6.16.
KIi.HRONSYTH DESTROYED SYDNEY, 3rd August. The New Zealand horse Kilbronsyth broke down badly ami has been destroyed.
The Mail land Cup, of a mile and three furlongs, resulted—TVrcmoana (N.Z.), 7.9, 1; Beware, 7.5, 2; Lilian Gish, 7.0, 3. Sixteen started. Won by a neck', rime, 2.22 2-5.
