ANNUAL LUNCH The special Holy Communion service and the luncheon held annually during Synod by the New Zealand Church Missionary Society took place yesterday. Tho service, conducted by Archdeacon Hart commenced in All Saints’ Church at 11 a.m, At noon a largo assemblage including Bishop Sadlier and nearly all the momhers of Synod, as well as others interested in the work of the society, sat down to an cxcollent lunch provided bv the ladies of the .N.Z.C.M.S. Afterwards a short informal meeting was' held and Archdeacon Dart read letters from three of tho society’s missionaries dealing with the work in their respective Tho letters were from; Nurso Lindsay, Tanganyika; Nurso Bargrove, Hangchow Hospital, China; and Miss Sowry, India.
