I Jook forward to the pleasure of congratulating you personally when we meet shortly to collaborate in furthering the outlook of pacification.” VOTE OF CONFIDENCE (Received Ist August, 12.10 p.in.) PARIS, 31st July. The Chamber, after passing a vote of confidence in M. Briand by 325 votes to 130, rose for the summer recess.
