CEREMONY IN COMMONS

SON BORN TO MEMBER CHRISTENING IX CRYPT LONDON. 17th July. An historic ceremony will shortly take place in the House of Commons, the christening of Ihe son of Mr' Leslie Boyce, M.P., formerly of Sydney. The son will be the first child of Australian parents to be christened in the House of Commons. Mr Boyce has applied to the Lord Chamberlain, the Earl of Cromer, for permission to have the ceremony carried out in St. Stephen's crypt, in which such ceremonies were recently resumed. The son will he called Richard Leslie, the latter name after Mrs Boyce's brother, who was killed in the war.
