DIOCESAN SYNOD
SERVICE AT CATHEDRAL TO-NIGHT Synodsmen from various parts of the district are assembling in Nelson for the Diocesan Synod, which commences with the special service at the Cathedral tonight. To-day the clergy are in conference with the Bishop of Nelson. Synod will not commence in the afternoon prior to the special service as heretofore hut will be constituted in the Cathedral to-night during the service at which Bishop Sadlier will deliver his speech. The business sitting of Synod will commence at 11 a.m. to-morrow.
