THE ALL BLACKS
MANAGER'S IMPRESSIONS OF TOUR (United Phm Auooiation—By. filMtrle Telegraph— OopEdgkt) (Received 30th July, 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Mr McLeod, manager of the All Blacks, outlining his impressions of the t6ur at a council meeting of the New South Wales Rugby Union, said that Australian Rugby had improved and the present New Zealand team was not one whit inferior to past Dominion combinations. The manager added that the game could not be . played more cleanly in Australia, but he struck a disconcerting note when he expressed the opinion that obstruction in various positions such as the line outs was a specialised business here. He assured the delegates that if the system was tolerated, the Australians would receive harsh treatment from New Zealand referees!
