ATTEMPT TO FIR PETROL TANKS
(By Telegraph —Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. An ineendiarist last night made an atlerupt to set fire to tanks at the Oasis petrol station. To set the'train to the lank, the man used a length of rubber lulling soaked in petrol. r l’he son of the proprietor was returning to get. hisMiiovele when lie discovered the burning tube when the flames had travelled to within a short distance of the tank, and was able to prevent a blaze.
