MOTOR PARTY’S END SEVEN BODIES FOUND IN' DESERT (United Prau AMoelnUofl—fi? Banfirt* telegraph—Copyright* United Service (Received 27th July, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, 26th July. A San Francisco message states that a tragedy of thirst was revealed as searchers followed a zigzag trail of footprints in the California desert near Niland until they came upon .the bodies of six people sprawled face downwards in the sand. These bad been passengers in a motor car which bad been found by the search party. Under the car itself was the body of the seventh passenger. Ho had crawled under the vehicle, to seek relief from a burning temperature of 105 degrees.
