The State golf professional title today went to Reg Jupp, who defeated the holder, Rufus Stewart, of South Australia, six up and five, in two rounds of match play, Jupp being..pix up..at the end of tho" first round. Jupp was very solid and sure. NEW ZEALANDERS PRESENT MELBOURNE, 25th July. The New Zealand golfers, Ross, Horton, Black and Morpeth arrived .to-day-.' and were welcomed by the Lord Mayor of Melbourne. Afterwards they . were motored to the Commonwealth links to witness the final of the professional championship. They are staying in Melbourne as the guests of the Victoria Golf Club.
