The Wellington and Auckland presbyteries have approved the resolutions adopted by the General Assembly Committee in Dunedin with regard fo*c:-:emp-tion from military service. The Wellington Committee also suggested - that the lcsolutions woujd bo strengthened by more emphatic reference to the wrongs .suffered bv students who were punished. It also favoured the abolition of compulsory military trainhg.
