DROWNED IN THE MANAWATU
(By Telegraph—Press Association) PALMERSTON N., This Day. Ronald Drummond, married, with three children, was drowned in the Manawatu river yesterday afternoon. He was employed at Child Brothers' metal depot, and when crossing the river in a boat to adjust sheave blocks the boat capsized and deceased was washed down stream. Although a search was "made the body lias not been recovered.
